Learn 'n Play Preschool and Children's Center is a state licensed child care center.
We have been providing care to children in the Fredericksburg area since 1988. We offer full time programs for ages six weeks to 12 years old.
In each classroom, we partner with many different local and national organizations to promote enriching activities, which help your child develop physical growth, positive self-esteem, practical living skills and appropriate academics- all while having fun!

Sharon Crabtree: Founder

Our center is co-owned and operated by Mrs. Sharon Crabtree, who has been a leader in the child care industry for over 35 years. Mrs. Crabtree holds two degrees from Old Dominion University– a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Education and Counseling. She has been involved in many national and local organizations, some of which she founded, led as President, or served on the board. (For more information on organizations with which

Christine Munoz: Owner

Mrs. Christine Munoz is co-owner of Learn 'n Play, as well as Ms. Sharon's daughter. "Ms. Christy," as most know her, has been working with LNP since 2010. She is committed to carrying on her mother's mission of providing quality childcare to our community. She is currently completing her Masters in Early Childhood Education.
Fun fact: Ms. Christy attended LNP as a school-ager & has held nearly every position at our center, including parent!

​Our Staff

All employees and volunteers of Learn 'n Play are required to pass health and criminal background screenings. Each employee is also CPR & First Aid Certified. In addition to child safety courses, our child care professionals undergo hours of specialized training each year to ensure we provide the best care possible to the children of our center.
